What You'll Do

Security & Risk Activities

  • Conduct vulnerability assessments across cloud and on‑prem environments.
  • Support development and implementation of security controls in dev and production ecosystems.
  • Assist with maintaining security and privacy policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Participate in incident response exercises and investigations.

Governance, Compliance & Vendor Activities

  • Support Vendor Risk Management processes.
  • Review customer contracts, RFPs, renewals, and documentation for security/privacy requirements.
  • Collaborate with EBSCO Legal to interpret and address contractual obligations.
  • Map controls across multiple security and privacy frameworks to identify overlaps and efficiencies.
  • Conduct audit reviews and information security risk assessments; record results in the Risk Register.

Learning & Development

  • Gain exposure to cutting‑edge tools, practices, and real‑world security issues.

About You

 

Education & Knowledge

  • Working toward a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • A basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts (e.g., threats like malware and viruses; vulnerabilities in code/systems).

Skills & Attributes

  • Effective teamwork skills and the ability to work independently as a self‑starter.
  • Interest in risk, compliance, cloud security, security governance, or incident management.
  • A desire to grow within a security organization that values innovation, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.

Pay Range

USD $20.00 - USD $26.00 /Hr.
